SELF DIRECTED HEALTH TESTING

Blood testing is an invaluable way to assess certain aspects of your health, both for prevention and wellness, as well as monitoring of certain existing problems. We allow you to purchase certain blood testing through Future Visions Foundation for self-directed healthcare. These tests can then be reviewed by your physician, and can guide you in proper choice of diet, supplements, and other health interventions. Knowledge is power-- being able to request your own blood testing gives you the ability to make better health choices.

For answers to your questions, please check out the FAQ's link: FAQ page. There you will find out how to order and receive materials to get your blood drawn, and how the results will be reported to you. The questions include:

  • Where do I go to get my blood drawn?
  • Will insurance cover any of these tests?
  • Which laboratory will be performing the testing on the blood specimen?
  • How will I receive my test results?
  • Do I have to live in Arkansas to get my blood testing done?
We also have knowledgeable people answering the phone Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM who can answer other questions about blood testing. Call 870-741-9596 if you have questions not covered in the FAQ section

How To Order Your Blood Test:

Determine which panel(s) and which add-ons you would like to have performed and call us at 870-741-9596. We can guide you through the process and tell you the total cost. You may also email us at fvfharrison@yahoo.com with your request for blood testing. Once we have received your check or credit card payment, you will receive a laboratory order form which you may take to any Quest draw station, or bring to the main office of Harrison Optimal Health at 6302 Hillside Lane, Harrison, AR to get your blood drawn. If you are ordering the IgG food antibody profile, the blood has to be drawn at a physician's office. If you live at too great a distance to come to Harrison Optimal Health, we can send you a kit which you can then take to your physician for the blood to be drawn, processed and shipped to Great Plains Laboratory. See FAQ's for "Which laboratory will be performing te4sting on the blood specimen?"

Blood Test Results

Once you have received your results, you can review those with your own physician, or call our office Monday through Friday to discuss your results with Lori Terry, R.N., our health advisor. She can also help you determine the right blood tests to order. Our health advisor(s) will not be offering diagnosis or treatment advice, but educational information to help you understand the test results. We suggest you contact your personal physician for medical advice personalized and specific for you.

Urine Test Results

At the current time, we are only offering one urine test. When you purchase this item, you will be mailed a kit with complete instructions and shipping information. A first thing in the morning urine is collected, and a portion of it mailed directly to the lab
